Hi! I got my first bike in 10+ years last November. In Feb I got my first road bike and I love it! I live in Riverside and am looking for tips and route suggestions to commute to work. I work in Southside, JTB and Gate Parkway. My schedule is 10:30am-7:30pm...heavy traffic will not be an issue. Any advise is GREATLY appreciated!

Mapmyride.com route from the foot of the Acosta to Gate PKWY/JTB.

Here is a route similar to that which I used to take from San Marco/Riverside when I worked at UNF. I'd use the Acosta over Main Street, you could go right instead of left at prudential and take River rd to River Oaks rd before Wishart.

Although I used to go straight out Beach blvd back in the day, but this looks pretty nice (gotta love the hybrid view).

Here is what I use to go to Downtown from Southside and Deerwood Pkwy.

This avoids most major roads and the ride is very peaceful.
